We are the anchor
Bridge To Brighter assists youth that have “aged out” of foster care. We have been able to provide assistance with housing expenses, food, GED testing, college fees/books, driver’s education and much more. We couldn’t do any of this without the support of our donors, supporters and community who allow us to continue extending help to these youth while they transition from foster care to adulthood.

Kevin and Shelly Mehring founded Bridge to Brighter because they wanted to make a difference in the lives of youth in and aging out of foster care. They were intentional in starting in Milwaukee County where the need is greatest in the state of Wisconsin. The Mehring family loves the state of Wisconsin and has personal experiences in their own extended family with foster care. They dream of the day Bridge to Brighter is impacting the lives of youth statewide!
